Approximation near the boundary of a radial quasi-interpolant in polygonal domains

چکیده

Given an open bounded subset Ω of IR with polygonal boundary and given a set of n data values {u(xi, yi)} n i=1 whose centers can be used to perform a regular triangulation of Ω, we introduce a local and a global quasi interpolant which approximate the unknown function u at any point t of Ω. In particular, the approximation problem near the boundary of the studied domain is solved.
